CORPUS CHRISTI: THE COMIC BOOK HAS A SOUNDTRACK!

A new limited collector’s edition of CORPUS CHRISTI #1, marked as #1CE is being released on April 25^th, 2012!  A pre-release of 10 copies go for sale at DISC GO ROUND of Corpus Christi, Texas, on April 21^st, 2012!  So what is special about this release?

#1CE is a 50 page trade format edition of the original 34 page story, but also contains:

9 reworked/redrawn/improved pages from the original story.

A comparison section of the improved pages vs. the original pages to show the improvement.

6 pages of conceptual art first drawn for the book in 2003 by Trent Westbrook

A short history of the first issue

All books signed by script writer Corbin Douglas and cover colorist Joseph Mitchell

And, the first 40 copies of #1CE will contain a limited soundtrack CD of music created specifically for this release by studio project 2023!  Contains 2 tracks:

1.)  VISION, PART II (04.54)

2.)  VISION COMPLETE (PART I & II) (07:48)  

  

The soundtrack is a concept album meant to accompany the story, both tracks serving as an audio interpretation of the visions and dreams that plague the main character of the story, Barry Christiansen.  This studio release was recorded and produced at both 2023 Studios and Trinity Studios of Corpus Christi, Texas.   Adding the music to the #1CE release was a last minute decision, meant to serve as a free extra for the fans, for both Free Comic Book Day (May 5^th, 2012) and Record Store Day (April 25^th, 2012).  If the music is successful with fans, plans for a continued soundtrack are being considered.
